It keeps me warm and is lightweight enough to wear under jumpers etc

Good, But

I found the Heat Holders thermal top the best I`ve ever tried with regards to warmth, I choose medium for size but found the top can up quite short and I`m only 5ft 6inches

Thick, warm and comfortable

If you're outside in the cold for any length of time this is an excellent base layer. A snug but not at all constricting fit, soft and thick but still sits nicely under outer layers. Keeps me warm working outside in minus temperatures.
