Bought these heat holder slipper socks for my grandsons for Christmas. They look fabulous and warm so sure they will like them .

Fun, comfy and warm but could be sturdier

Not much to complain. Even with a very cold environment these socks keep the feet warm but without being sweaty. Of course the star wars theme is fun. Inly drawback. I bought a pair last year and there is a small hole in the big toe already. The double folded layer is a bit weak at the tip but can be repaired if handy

2. Heat Holders thermal loops: Our innovative knitting technology produces our PATENTED long-loop cushion pile to hold more warm air close to the skin, boosting the socks' thermal overall grade (TOG) rating.

3. Heat Holders thermal brushing: Our expert brushing process maximises the amount of warm air held within the fabric of the socks for unbeatable warmth and all-day comfort.

What is a TOG rating?

TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is an independent laboratory-tested standard for insulation. The higher the TOG rating, the better the product is at keeping you warm. You’ll see TOG ratings applied to duvets and babywear, as well as thermal clothing like Heat Holders.

How warm are Heat Holders Dual Layer socks?

Heat Holders Dual Layer are among the warmest socks we produce. Using our unique manufacturing process, we put two Heat Holders Lite socks inside each other and bind them together to create a super thermal sock with twice the thermal protection and a huge TOG rating of 3.1.

That makes Dual Layer even warmer than our Original socks and over eight times warmer than a basic cotton sock.
